In 2002, at the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival, Bruce Halabisky and his wife Tiffany spotted an Atkin- designed gaff-cutter named Vixen. A few months later they bought the boat and in 2004 set off for Hawaii in what was to become an 11 year circumnavigation. Along the way two daughters were born and many side trips were taken including three trans-Atlantics. Bruce and Tiffany will show images of their voyage and discuss their life of offshore sailing on a traditional wooden boat.
